A Nation Betrayed:

Demand Global Action for South Africa

Petition to: International governing bodies, including the United Nations, the International Criminal Court (ICC), and the International Court of Justice (ICJ)

We, the Undersigned Citizens of South Africa and members of the international community, hereby express our full and unequivocal support for the filings and actions of the Libertas Vanguard Society (LVS), an institute steadfastly dedicated to defending democracy and upholding Human Rights. Justice Denied. This petition demands immediate global action, backed by undeniable evidence of the South African government’s role in a catastrophic humanitarian crisis.

Decades of ANC corruption, disastrous policies, self-serving alliances, dismantled protections, racialized governance, cadre deployment, and neglect have driven economic collapse, social decay, and violence against citizens, constituting gross human rights violations, crimes against humanity, and arguable genocide under International Law. When a state knowingly permits or perpetuates widespread and severe suffering, it commits crimes against humanity alongside egregious human rights breaches. These acts are part of a systematic attack against civilians and meet the legal threshold for international prosecution.

The government cannot legally wield historical injustices or economic woes for crises it creates, or as shields for constitutional breaches. Its absolute duty to uphold equality, dignity, and basic services is non-negotiable and absolute. Morally, there is no justification for willful policies that deepen suffering and flout the rule of law. Invoking history to excuse abuse is legally baseless. We reject any new measures and policies that further erode rights and inflict foreseeable harm, demanding the world hold South Africa accountable, now.

We stand at a pivotal moment: Uphold the Rule of Law or selectively apply Justice. Choosing the latter will perpetuate suffering, shield perpetrators, and undermine the very foundation of international accountability and law. The ANC is intensifying its campaign against the very citizens it is constitutionally bound to protect, tightening its grip through policies engineered to silence dissent, dismantle rights, and entrench systemic harm.

We categorically reject any new legislation or executive action that undermines fundamental freedoms, removes legal safeguards, or enables foreseeable and preventable suffering. These are not reforms; they are weapons of repression. Given these circumstances, we urge the international community to take swift and resolute action. We endorse SACT in its call for the following demands:

  1. The enforcement of specific, focused sanctions on ANC officials and other involved political actors who bear responsibility for corruption, crimes against humanity, and persistent breaches of Human Rights.
  2. Formal submissions to the ICC and ICJ exposing the South African government’s blatant hypocrisy and politically selective application of International Law, weaponizing legal institutions against geopolitical rivals while shielding allies and turning a blind eye to atrocities within its own borders.
  3. Recognition of refugee status for Afrikaners and the White minority of South Africa as a persecuted cultural group under International Human Rights definitions.
  4. Initiation of legal and diplomatic measures to hold accountable those responsible for:

  • The cultural and political persecution of Afrikaners and the White minority in South Africa.
  • The continued oppression and marginalization of indigenous communities.
  • The systematic erosion of traditional African tribal rights.
  • The ongoing corruption, racial discrimination, violence, economic collapse, crimes against humanity and violations of Human Rights perpetrated by the State and its protected actors.

We affirm that International Law must not be selectively applied, and Justice must not be politicized. By signing this petition,

I declare my support for the above
